Which SCCA formula season are you referring to? $300k should cover several seasons (and a couple cars lol) for most SCCA Club racers.

I would suggest getting a basic DSR. Lots of fun, lower costs, and great competition nationwide.

You can do a basic formula ford season on a very very low budget. Lots of fun, and teaches you tons.

Just remember, there is a big difference from racing in a series, and racing to WIN the series, specifically how much cash you need to burn
