Very true Jesse. Different clubs, Different expectations. Different experience levels.

One of our local SCCA Club racers ( who does not frequent HPDE's) --was amazed that Patroon requires a recent brake fluid change before the events ---stated he had not changed his brake fluid all year in the racer. (this was 2 yrs back at the end of the season)

COM has the same attitude we have towards an instructor. At the point you are an instructor --you should know what needs to be done to your car ( self tech) --of course there are always exceptions to the rule--which I am sure 1st Gen can tell stories about.
