They are definately a personal preference as some people love the look and some hate it. If you're familiar with Chevy trucks at all you won't see much of a difference other than the asthetics. What I love about them is the versatility. You can either have a family hauler or a full size 8 foot bed to haul other stuff. I love the different configurations of the bed in it. Right now I have a 02 Bravada, which is the same as the Trailblazers and although I like it, it would be nice to have a pickup truck sometimes. With our first child on the way as well, I would need a 4 door truck.
