There has been quite a few people who have drilled a hole in the driver side firewall and ran the harness through the dash to the passenger side stock ecu location. The only wires you would have to extend would be a couple wires from the engine harness and the body harness.
I really don't want to drill a hole in my firewall, but it sounds like it is so much easier than extending 50+ wires. I am just scared about extending because one little mistake could cost quite a bit of money.
I am going to go out and see if this method is going to work. I might actually do it this way to save time and frustration. Also, running the harness through the driver side would clean up the engine bay quite a bit..
