I've had 4 Endoscopys and one in which they actually had to repair my esophagus when they were in there.....its not bad though they put you out with this stuff called probil now which your out for about 25 mins and when you wake up its like after taking a nap your not all groggy and you know whats going on around you it's not like the stuff they give ya for major surgeries. I used to get extremely bad chest pains and throw up blood like 6 times a day before they finally figured out what it was....nexium didnt work for me they had to put me on this stuff called Aciphex its like 500 bucks everytime you refill it without insurance.....thank god mine cover's it!! Greg now maybe you understand why when I drink Smirnoff's and stuff I get such bad heartburn and got sick at a few of the parties.....if you drink alot of beer and stuff it will defintely effect you and caffeine has a major part of it the more u drink the worse it makes it....I actually have a black ring in my esophagus every 2 years I have to have an endoscopy to make sure I dont have cancer.
