Thumbs up

So to follow up, the entire process was a walk in the park.

I would highly recommend the oral surgeon I went to (Dr. Busino, located in the medical offices behind Styvesant Plaza). He was very professional, explained the entire process, and did the best he could to calm me down since I was pretty nervous before the procedure.

I got laughing gas, IV anesthesia, and novocaine. I was prescribed Lortab (super duper Vicodin), and haven't even experienced ANY pain, just a mild discomfort. I have been taking the pain pills every 4 hours, as prescribed, so I've been in la-la-land for the past 48 hours. Good times, good times. No swelling or bruising, and not much bleeding. I have been able to eat ice cream, mashed potatoes, and jello with no problems at all. Just have to be cautious and not open my mouth too wide, or I can feel the tugging around the stitches.

So, yeah. Piece of cake!
