Losers on ebay

So I won these nice looking MM465 components from this clown on ebay. A month of excuses goes by and I had to file a claim to get the kid to ship. They finally arrive and the arent even the MM465s. Instead I get a set of MM6s. The kid then tells me he saw the pics on google and used them because they looked like his. Then went on to tell me that his were much better and far superior to the MM465s. I got a bunch of rusty crossovers, tweeters with half an inch of wire on them and woofers missing the screws to hold down the speaker wire. Heres the auction. Watch out for this clown.

Rare 2 sets Polk Audio MM465 6 1/2 Momo Component Set - eBay (item 190207872005 end time Mar-26-08 09:05:44 PDT)

Got this email from the clown..

I see what you mean. I saw the pics of the woofer and and the tweeter which are identical and just thought it was the year earlier model or something but the same speakers. I googled the net for pics and used those that popped up. They looked pretty closed to identical other than the casing for the crossover. The speakers I sent you are a better set. You can look at the specs on them. Their better quality and materials used to make them as well and in great shape.

Shortly after I tell him he sucks, doesnt know what hes doing, and that I dont want his shitty components (in a nice way of course) I get this.

Yes my system was nothing but high sound quality, my total system cost over $6,000. It was professionally installed and uninstalled. Only two of the crossovers have some rust on the screws only..because of being in the door panels in the front. There is nothing wrong with them and nothing a little cleaning can't remove. If you refer back to the auction these are sold as is and I was very clear about them being used and not perfect. It seems nothing I do will satisfy you and I know that in life we run across people like this from time to time. The 465's are not superior. They are identical speakers except for the writing on the woofers. And if you look at the details of the tweeters.. your 465's have a silk composite.. mine are made from true silk.

I even pulled up a polk forum link for you that furthermore shows these are the exact same speakers other than the ink on the cone because it was an older model. As for missing screws? I can't believe you are complaining about some screws. If you like I can mail you a bag of screws for these. A partial refund of $100 is totally unreasonable. I have already contacted paypal and I am in the right. The only refund I would see understandable is partial shipping due to it taking longer than expected. You have recieved a beautiful pair of speakers taken very good care of. Perfectly clean other than the normal wear on screws in the front crossover. Be reasonable. The speakers are yours now. Our sale is complete. And any feedback spitefully given will be rightfully returned. I thought you would be more adult than that. We can end this on a positive note
