well ... its getting there, old engine is out, stuff is being / has been swapped over, new one should be in Wed:

Dorschel Nissan is doing it (in part / thanks to their sponsorship of the car). The engine came from an SCCA T2 race team - it was a Nissan development motor with about 10 race hours, was balanced and blueprinted by a Nissan Motorsports employee and is a 2003 engine (VQ35DE) but with the 05-06 "Rev-Up" cams - which on a NORMAL setup moves shifts power from 287 peak to 300 peak crank HP. The cams supposedly were re-indexed (not sure if it was intake / exhaust / both - and even if I knew, hey, I gotta keep something in the bag) and with a custom tune using software from a company UpRev (yeah yeah I know, a lot of up and a lot of rev in these names) who licensed the Nissan ECU source-code it should make decent power, and mainly, it should be super reliable.

*fingers crossed* it apparently runs fine, we needed to replace an o2 sensor, Nissan sent the wrong one today so that and my replacement test-pipes should be in tomorrow / car should be done by the weekend or early next week!
