10 psi on a worn d is not a very good idea.
more importantly, figure out what you want to do with the car-
daily driver, autox, hpde, whatever. that is the most important factor in deciding what to do next.
then research the setups that other people doing the same thing do, and get a rulebook for any sanctioned bodies you will want to race the car in. it'll save you from making posts starting with "maybe i'll just..."
and finally, if you don't hve to money to persue which ever route you decide on, find a planned schedule that will allow you to work your way there and still do everything right. trying to cobb something together will and then dealing with the resultant problems will just piss you off in the long run.
