Black FTW!
Nice tib, but you should really check out Seoulfulracing.com they have all sorts of nice KDM goodies that you can't get in the states. Damnitt I love hard to get parts.
Also why get the Basslink, doesn't Tibs come with an Infinity sub from the factory? Kenwood makes a direct iPod hookup that charges it and you can control it from the headunit. Aux to me is just pointless since it doesnt charge it, the sound quality is so so, and you gotta mess with the iPod and the factory volume and controls at the same time.
Def. check out Seoulfulracing.com tho they have everything from KDM aero parts to custom turbo kits all made by them. Plus they got a awsome decal :0)

Thanks for the warm welcome guys

I've actually ordered a couple things from seoulfulracing before - some small interior pieces, but I'm not as huge into the KDM thing as some tib owners are.

In 2005, Hyundai went from Infinity systems to Kenwood systems, which means no factory sub in my car, which explains my desire for the basslink. The aux-in is up in the air - right now I'm leaning more toward just buying a new headunit that's already ipod ready.

IMO I think you'd be better off upgrading to something better than Infinity especially their Basslink. IDK your specific needs (SQ, SPL, just want a sub), but its worth the extra coin to do a custom setup. I would say if you wanna do that OEM look just snag the 2004 and earlier Tibby's stock Infinity system for cheap. Heres one on eBay going for $33 with 11 hours left.
Tibby Sub
As for the aux-in I strongly recommend doing an iPod ready headunit with their iPod interface. I have had an aftermarket Kenwood unit in my car with their iPod interface for 2 years and simply love it. Once you get the hang of the specific brands navigation on their HU its great. Plus you can tuck away your iPod where ever you wanna run the cord to and it'll charge it and keep it out of sight from thieves.

Glad to see you signed up here on Rspeed Steph Go easy guys this is my girlfriend here

I've helped Steph build this car from day one when it rolled off the lot bone stock. I love the theme she has went with on this car and the ultimate goal is to achieve a balance of power and looks. Hence the boost coming in the winter of 07 by the way of an Eaton M62 setup

As far as audio goes i've personally dealt with the Basslink before and another member of our club has one in his WRX. For us audio isn't really a huge concern, and definately isn't something we concentrate on so the Basslink with its clean look, light weight, and ease of install makes for a great way to just give a little bass to the system
