I wouldnt do it but chances are you will be fine doing it. if you want to free that locking hub up just pull the hub apart and regrease it chances are thats the issue. plus its a good maintnence thing to do once a season with manual 4x4 hubs as they get a little older. my old exploder was notorios for being a pain to lock in its warn manual hubs until they got regreased. glad my new f150s autohubs work like a champ
