Exactly. Everything I have seen, regardless of which upconverting DVD player they are talking about, the difference is HUGE going from standard progressive scan DVD quality to an upconverted DVD.

So upconverting is better than standard, but obviously nowhere near HD-DVD/Blu-Ray which I won't spend the money on now anyway.
