My vote is for DLP out of those two, but I would also look at the LCoS TV's. DLP's processing is done on a single chip and the LCoS TV's use individual chips so you get better color and no "rainbow effect" which is common on DLP TV's.

The LCoS TV's also have user replaceable lamps which run about 200 bucks. I got the 4 year warranty on mine though which covers the first bulb replacement.
