I just picked up a copy of DVE myself and I am going to sit down and calibrate my TV and surround sound within the next week or so.
I was dead set on a Samsung DLP for the longest time and then I saw the JVC and Sony LCoS sets and immediately fell in love with them. After doing lots of research between the LCoS sets and the Samsung DLP's, I ended up with the JVC D-ILA.
