Celtic1982citleC is an unknown quantity at this point

Story time...
...I was at the Porsche booth with all of my brochures and info and such on our product an a couple of women (who work for the state) stopped by for some pamphlet shopping (mind you they already had a bag-full of handouts from other manufacturers). I politely hand the women the information they request and they walk away with information in hand. One of the women, unknown to me, left her handbag in the front of my booth. Roughly 10 minutes went by before a gentleman posted out that someone left their purse in the front of my booth. As I walk around to get the purse the woman who owns it is coming back around the corner. I have the bag picked up at this point and the man is laughing to me about how outrageous I look with a gold glittery handbag in my hands. We have a laugh and he begins to move on. The woman owner (probably late 30's, overweight african american woman) sees this and begins to scream, "SOMEONE STOP THAT MAN, HE STOLEN MY PURSE. SOMEONE GET MY PURSE FROM THAT MAN!!" At this point a security officer (as our booth was just on the other side of the security office doorway) comes storming out at me and demands me to drop the bag. Me, being outraged by the whole thing, should back at the security officer that I was putting it behind my booth cause the woman left it behind when she stopped for vehicle information. I go back and forth with the security and the woman who left the bag behind is demanding I get arrested as she's cursing up one side of me and down the other. Saying she'd never leave her precious $5 wal-mart glitter handbag behind. The security guard then asks for my id. Now, keep in mind that when you enter the state plaza for the car show ENYCAR takes your ID and issues you a franchise employee badge to represent the manufacture you are working for. I explain to the security guard I don't have my ID and then hand her my badge and she realizes I work there but still thinks I was out to steal this woman's tacky bag. Luckily, after having one hell of a good laugh over the whole scenario, the gentleman that found the bag came over and informed the security guard that he was actually the one that found it and I, as I had said, was going to bring it around back of the booth for the woman so nobody walked off with it. The woman called us both liars and stormed off. Security appologized for the problem and allowed me to go back to work. So that pretty much sucked and I'll never go back there again
