Droughns should get the majority of the work unless he underperforms.

are you crazy? have you ever watched a giants game? Jacobs was spelling Barber all year long up to week 12 or 13 on 1st, 2nd and 3rd down, he can catch the ball just as good as barber could, and they used him on passing situations to block the blitz which he got very good at. If anyone is 1 dimensional its Droughns, Jacobs, is bigger, faster, more agile and has alot more upside. Jacobs was used as a short yardage back his rookie year and that was all, last year they used him in every situation possible and he showed he can more than carry the load

BRANDON JACOBS 2006 Stats

96 carries
423 yards
4.4avg
9td

11 rec
149 yds
13.5 avg.
long 43
he had a good year and you also have to take into effect he got close to no playing time the last 4-5 weeks because they were saying fair well to tiki and letting him have the whole load.
