if it is indeed the sensor that tells the tranny when to shift the whole unit needs to be replaced. The good news is that you can get it off of any 2.0 Jetta/Golf/Cabrio at any junk yard for really really cheap as there are a ton of them out there. Thanks Justin. I am not sure if we have any good junk yards around here, but I will look around. If I can get it for dirt cheap, I may just swap it and hope thats the problem. Also, do you know how much the mechanics there charge to hook up to Vag-Com? Also, what years did the 2.0 come in the Jetta's and Golf's, I am too lazy to look it up?
So what do you think of the EOS?
