Talking stop by and say wadzup at the track

I'm not sure why I didn't find this local forum before but someone pointed it out to me recently. I have run all three of my cars at the track, even my bone stock 15sec 02 WRX DD. Call it a character flaw, but I must race everything I own?

My primary track car is an 04 RedFire Ported Eaton Cobra with a 125 shot. It will pass any tech NHRA, IHRA or NMRA to 10.0 and is not that streetable anymore after adding a 9" trick Moser solid with gundrilled 35 spline axles, Detroit Locker, full drag suspension, 4.11 race gear set and so many other things I have done to go fast, I can't even name them all anymore but you will see it rolling the Ave., don't worry you can't miss it "04SNAKE"

That SOB took nearly 2 years to complete and is still needs tuning for my new setup. I just about lost my mind last fall facing the prospect going thru 2006 with no passes after over 120 in 2005, so when a family friend asked me if I wanted to buy his red/black 99SS with 19K miles and a T-56, well it instantly became my backup car. Granted it isn't a 10 sec car but it is a torque monster and within 2 weeks of buying it I slapped in Spohn Cromoly rear UCA+LCA, adjustable TA with solid DS loop, PHB, welded in Cromoly SFC's, poly trani mount, separately adjustable Air Bags, 4.10 gears, Diff cover (I know it's only a 10 bolt, but the cover makes me feel better) but I left motor stock for now. You gotta hook before you can go, so I worked on hook first with the SS and ran the last two Oct 06 weekends just missing a 12 sec pass with 3 13.0's.

I tune the Cobra with SCT Advantage III and the chebbie with HPtuners VCM editor myself, I play with computers for a living so there was only going to be one person other than the factory in my PCM's. I have dual bank WB AFR sensors on the Cobra that I can datalog along with RPM, boost and G-Force without a PC, although the PC is attached most of the time to datalog even more stuff. My Dyno is the street and LVD and you can find me there Sunday's running in non-electric Eliminator class and most good weather Saturdays. This year I'm not sure how many Weds and if I did roll out midweek it would be with my SS but I have fun driving no matter what I'm rowing.

I'm more of a show me guy rather than a bench racer and I don't care how many horses are under the hood, only what it does at the track which is also a function of the driver. FORD/CHEVY/import means nothing to me, only fast/slow and driving, I know most guys want to pick a team, so I must be a free agent.

04snake.com is my website and the movies page linked off of the home has over 1200 movies total with 30 or 40 of me driving. Most are Stang Vids but there is full dragsters, Outlaws, F-body's, imports and my original movies all from the track, NO STREET RACING.

stop by and say Yo at the track or if you see me cruzing by on Central flip me off or ask to look under the hood, you never know what you might find.

Oh and the crappy flames that came on the SS are gone now but I didn't mess with the friggin vinyl adhesive until after I was done at the track, you gotta have priorities and that was lower than getting the Redfish ready for the track!
