So at the time I've elected to keep the MR2. Just like last year, I'm in a position where selling it means getting lowest dollar for it in its current condition, and building it means a lot of expense, time and effort. So I can give up and throw the towel in, or bite the bullet [again] and dive into it.
Hopefully I"ll be able to enjoy it in perfect running condition for more than 48 hours, as that seems to be the theme everytime I do major work to it.
My thoughts are to fix the damage [pics later] she sustained to her rear quarter panel from a guardrail hit, replace the door, front fender and rocker panel. Frame's straight.
My QUESTION is: What direction should I go? THe rear quarter needs serious work and filling. I'm considering attempting to flare fenders an inch or rivet on flares and run wide rear rubber, such as this:
