Indeed. I really wouldn't care if these flares were painted at all. In fact, I'd prefer they weren't. Easier to maintain. As for the body and rusting, it's easy to prevent that if it's done correctly, using a different kind of plastic pop rivet. I'd have to do more research on that fastener, but i'm pretty sure i've seen ways to do it.
my boss thinks I should use an epoxy. Lotus elise structural panels, anyone?
