Josh Smith is an amazing athlete...but only an average basketball player. Josh Childress has a TON of potential. The Hawks are young and inexperienced and lack true talent. It'll be at least a couple seasons before they flirt with the playoffs. Even in the anemic eastern conference. My bad boys from the D are getting old, though...and worry me about how good they'll be this year. Even with a good draft...we have the oldest starting 5 in the NBA. AARP is knocking on Detroits door...this could be the year we HAVE to win another championship before we start running into all sorts of problems. Hopefully Dumars will trade some vets for some young talent though so I won't have to worry. Joe D FTW!
