Been there done that. We carry a bunch of different setups for that car. An no your engine does not need to come off. The Greddy and Neuspeed Kits are both excellent and much more cost effective then the others. ATP and Forge are great kits as well.
* Note: If you like your enginge cover and choose to keep it make sure you get an FMIC that allows it some do, most don't. Also if you plan to get a Front Strut Bar then you have to use on that doesnt come up over the top of the motor. The Nuespeed, APR Tuned and Forge Intercoolers are the ones to go for that.
