Yes, AWD automatic vehicles are no problem. DJ, I'm not sure how he'd dyno the DMax...how many speeds is the auto? If it's a 5 spd 3rd is typically the 1:1 gear and 4th for a 6 spd. I don't know much about how he choses to run auto's on the dyno but that's just my guess.
