last i knew about it, it was going to use the M45 AWD platform, damn thats a large car. no idea what it will look like but it's going to be one long AWD car.
Why would they use the M45 platform? They already have the Skyline in Japan which is the same style/platform as the G35, not to mention the car would need a ton of HP to make up for the extremely heavy frame.....

that doesn't make sense. for them to not put the skyline gt-r ON the skyline platform (g35 here) would be like putting the STi on a different platform than the impreza wrx...
ive seen pics of what they want to release. and its definatly a hatchback. Its a completly new platform. They changed from the R34 platform to the G35 platform. Why wouldn't they change it again?
I think they already have plans to re-release the supra from what I was reading in autoweek...
Yea last I heard the sky was falling down....
They have been talking about bringing the Supra back for a LONG time and nothing has come of it thus far...
2008 Toyota Supra
On Sale : Unconfirmed
These photos were Japanese interpretations of the next-gen Supra. Toyota is currently testing a supercar in the $100,000 range. Technology from this car may pass down to a future Supra, which may receive anything from a boosted V6 to a V8, or even a hybrid in its top form. Toyota has no comment, but the Supra nameplate will be back.
