ohh yeah, busted a motor mount last week, motors a bit more then I thought it was so I have to fix those... I'm going to go with some custom make solids this time, and a torque strap. Don't want the bitch to break loose on me again.

However. This will be a "straight line car" not very good around corners I love getting shoved in th eback of the seat.

they have something like that, but with the torque twist of a built big / punched out small block motor. you want something solid. If these things break normal motormounts. imagine what it would do to a liquid / air shock.

Solid connection is the way to go with my buildup. To create a solid motor mount but limit the rough ride of a solid mount <body shakes with the motor> You have to take a rubber bushing mount, drill 2 holes in it and reenforce it with 2 class 8 bolts. That'll hold the bitch down

I had "energey suspention" mounts, good ones. but it didn't help much, of course me screwing around didn't help at all...

this is the baby I think i'm going to get.

Yup, this inspires me to pick up the Vmax Torque bar for the deuce. It basically looks like an exact replica of what Khryon posted, except for me it runs under the engine and bolts to the tranny and to the front engine mount. Solid bars are the way to go if they're designed right. Breakage sucks.

Let me know if you decide to do it, I need a set of group-n engine mounts and pitch stop for the legacy.
