Possible 2007 Camaro

Not that most of you, or any of you really care, but the Camaro will be coming back, its just a matter of when at this point. On the camaro forum there are a couple of "insiders" that work at GM and whatnot and have confirmed it. Right now the speculation is 2007.

I definitely can't wait, and if it is gonna look like any of the concept drawings its gonna be SWEET!

guess the mustang will not be the only pony car on the market again. I actually miss the comaro. I know its kinda dumb since comaro and mustang guys are arch enemies but its not the same with it gone I dunno one of those things I guess. Plus the dealers have been able to jack the crap out of the prices of the mustangs.

Did you forget about the GTO? Thats a serious car. I believe that will end up being the Firebird replacement because there are no talks about ever bringing the Firebird back.

the gto may have power but it looks like a grand prix to me

I will give you that. Its not FAR from the looks of a grand prix, but its actually pretty close to the Holden design. We weren't talking about styling though anyway, you were talking about "pony" cars of which the GTO, without a doubt, should be considered one.

I honestly think the design is better than the Mustangs though anyway, whether it looks similar to a grand prix or not.

i really hope they don't bring the firebird back. GM needs to realize that they need to make ONE model of car, not multiple ones with different badges.

I am pretty positive that they WILL NOT bring the Firebird back. Ever since they killed both there have been talks about a Camaro at a later date, but they wanted to kill the Firebird forever. I think that is part of the reason the GTO is back too.

i like the GTO. The Charger is ugly, the mustang is acceptable, and a new camaro would be cool. I dont hate domestics, they have some big powerful cars.

I'd take a GTO only becasue GM didn't build it.

I'd Also get a proper front bumper. I'd have to get all the true Holden Monaro or a EDM Vauxhall Manaro bits so it wouldn't look like a Pontiac.

If you think the Holden's are nice, you need to be introduced to HSV (Holden Special Vehicles).

Yup, seen those before and they are definitely sick. Its a shame they don't bring that stuff to the states.

I have always been a fan of the Firebirds, hell, i've owned 3 3rd gens, loved them all. I seriously think they need to be careful with bringing back the Camaro though.

The Zeta plateform looks like a good idea, but it's been stop and go with it for awhile.

There is also rumor of the Zeta plateform bringing back the Chevelle name. another thing they need to be very VERY careful off, you people think i'm crasy when I see a 06 Charger thread <blah> wait till you see a Chevelle nut go off

I dislike the gran pr.....errr.... GTO as it is, i'll wait for the redesign to make my comments on that.
