Check out this Camaro!

This is one sweet looking and sounding camaro. It is a turboed 427. You would never guess its putting down that much power by the looks or sounds of it.

I don't see how you would, but I guess everyone is different. The car looks completely stock and it sounds like it could be something as simple as a large cam, heads, cutouts and thats about it.

If I were to guess a number, it would have probably been in the 600-700hp range.

on a stock smallblock with a stock cam, it's easy to see 500-600hp crank HP out of a well designed turbokit.

Once I hear a cam, i know they've fiddled with the longblock, and if they've fiddled with that, chances are the mods go more than skin deep.

That's just how I see it.

On the other hand, a Supra that idles at 1000 can sound just like any inline 6 with a fart can. Meanwhile, the higher idle can smooth out the lumpy sound of larger cams... so that you have a car that looks lightly modded that can still do this:

WHY DOES EVERYONE SPELL CAMARO WITH AN E!!

I don't understand it. All you have to do is spell it like its pronounced.

Anyway, I guess the reason I don't look too deep into possibilites as far as modding goes is because I did a cam swap in my camaro and I know that I didn't have that much work done to it, but it sounded pretty damn mean.
