This would be great for parents with children wanted to borrow their vehichles!! It would either force the kids to drive safe or be smart and learn how to disable it :mrgreen:

Yes, technically it is still against the law, but I don't think that there is one cop out there that will give you a ticket because you are going over the speed limit to get someone that is dying to the hospital.

lol @ anyone in this thread who doesn't "speed"

we all do.

in most places you will get run off the road if you aren't going 3-5mph over. Like washington avenue in albany. It is a 30mph zone, but everyone goes 40. cops go 45-50.

no, it doesn't. But, your driving capabilites are above that of a 16 year old or an 85 year old. this may be a good technology for people with learners permits or who have only had a license for a year or two. same thing with elderly people (then again, who has to usually worry about them going FAST!!)

But there are exceptions and it will never pass because of that. Such as, wife in labor in car, you speed to hospital, or hurt person, etc.
