The path through higher power
Just something i was musing about for your typical 2 to 2.5 liter turbo cars.
200HP - You just swapped a motor into your honda and think you are the fastest thing on the planet. The only people enjoying this power level are Elise owners and other cars under a ton.
300HP - Puts a smile on your face
400HP - Keeps the smile, but sends you out on a mission to slay exotics and arrogant car owners. You are cocky, but your car is still proficient at a range of things.
500HP - Turns your knuckles white, makes diapers a necessity, but you're still having fun. You're starting to have issues enjoying that power unless its on straight highways.
600HP - You're starting to get beat around town by 300HP cars with traction and a usable powerband.
700HP - Your car is pretty much a time-attack or highway-only racecar at this point. Lag is horrendous but in some sick way, you're loving every minute of it.
800HP - You're replacing parts on the car as often as you reach into the fridge to grab a soda, but everyone on the internet worships your dyno graph. Unless the car is purpose built, you're running 11's and high 10's.
900HP - IF you're actually at this level, pat yourself on the back. You have built a beautifully crafted hand grenade without a pin, and everyone knows it which is why they hang around all the time to see the car. They're waiting for the fuse to go off.
1000HP - Godly. Your engine is built from unobtanium. You have put a fortune equivalent to a third world country's debt into your powerplant setup. Legends are written about you. Internet fanboys mention your name everywhere as ammunition for why their cars are better. Your car is trailered everywhere and functions mainly as a living museum piece and dyno queen.
