Why don't you think it will come out? I think it is a definite possibility, especially since Chevy seems to want an SS model in almost every car they make now. :P

But this would come from the factory and have the full warranty, plus I am sure it will have some suspension upgrades as well. I want an LS9 motor, thats all, heck they can ditch this SS Corvette and just put the LS9 in the new Camaro.

i just don't see GM needing 3 versions of the vette... waste of money and time.. make a stage kit for it thru GM that allows you to play with the computer as well as add a blower and some small suspesion upgrades... the suspesion right now is computer controlled so you can always just tweak the computer to get it stiffer

They have 3 versions or more of many cars already. Just look at the 4th gen camaros: Base V6, RS, Z28 and SS.

and they got rid of it didn't they.. GM is now moving away form doing different engines in the same car and now moving toawrds doing different options..

almost every car out now instead of have 3 engine types to chose from you have 2... and they only come in certian models and thats it.. it basicly comes down to do you want 4 cyL or do you want 6 cyL... do you want FWD or AWD, do you want leather seats or cloth, do you want a sunroof ro not, thats basicly it now... GM doesn't want to have a ton of different type of products they have to come out with... and it makes no sense for Gm to go back out and re-mack the vette when the Z06 is gunna be more then enough for the market

I still see many different engine types in a lot of GM vehicles, especially their trucks....

Either way, it would be extremely cool to have a car with that much power as long as it could put it to the ground.

truscks is an entirely different topic... GM ford and dodge all make the majority of their earnings from truck sales... car sales only make about 30% of their profit
