Best (cheapest) way to transport a car?

I'm looking to bring a car up from Trenton NJ to my place and would like it to be the cheapest way possible. I have a truck available to me with a hitch.

What are my options?

me and tony were gonna use a car hauler from uhaul and i don't think the price was too bad for that, i'd go down there and see what your options are. Might even be able to get a car dolly from them although the guy was shady about whether or not they had one when me and tony asked about it.

The hidden UHaul costs are startling by the time you get your bill.

Agreed. I used it when I went and picked up the SVT. It was about 2 hours away and I think it cost me like 80 bucks for it or something like that.

Yes, but not as safe over long distances.
