looking to see if anyone wants to come with me to buschur racing on the 15th/16th of this month to get a dyno done. im going out there and taking a couple days off to get a full PROPER tune done for the car on 93 and a race gas map for the accessport... its approx an 8 hour trip according to mapquest from here to his shop in WAKEMAN, OHIO. the first tune is $299 and $100 for any additional. let me know if ur interested and then you'd have to call and set up the appt. with him (1-440-839-1900) for one of those days.
thats all guys. thanks
There are SEVERAL places locally that can tune the STi for him. Why he's going all the way to BR to have Al tune the car is beyond me. Al can tune it for you right at "The Shop" in Stamford, CT Travis. I'm pretty sure Al is running the dyno days there on the 15th/16th unless they changed it and never posted it on the EvoM forums. I personally think you'd be better off going to TurboTrix or Pruven or waiting til' Franz Diebold is in the area and then you can make the trip with me to get your car tuned by a true professional. It's your money and your choice, however. I don't have an exact date for Franz yet but it will be sometime towards the end of this month. If you're interested let me know. I know he'd like to do more stuff while he's in the area. Great guy and on top of it you won't find a better tuner stateside or in all of North America for that matter. If you do a search and look at some of the cars he's built you'll see what I mean.

He tunes out of wherever he is at the time. Usually when I see him its at KTR Performance out in Ayer, MA (dyno dynamics dyno...best tuning dyno out there). He works out of Jackson Auto Machine in VA currently but travels with the Subaru Rally Team.

i heard synapse is getting a couple more dynapacks for awd tuning...id like to get on a dyno thats somwhat close to what morgans would read.... we shall see
I'm not even getting into another flaming dyno debate. If you want to get on a dyno close to Morgan's...goto Morgan's. Otherwise its pointless as they're all calibrated different, every facility uses different cooling/venting techniques...it's just ridiculous.

Dynapack is good for load based tuning. All dynos are diff. Not sure why ppl run to this guy. Any person that can tune your management system on a good dyno can do the job. It's not magic.
I need his help with the methanol...Al (dynoflash) won't tune a car that doesn't have an SMC or Aquamist kit. He only retails those, and will only tune those. He's a real piece of work in regards to such things. Plus I just flat out don't like the guy

well, wherever you choose to go, make it your chosen location. As dynos will vary on readouts from location to location, pick one place and stick with it. It'll help the consistency of your results and the tuner will be more familiar with your vehicle, which will help the process considerably.
I'll probably be taking my car to Morgan, as I only have two drive wheels
I'm less concerned about peak numbers than I am about percentage differences across the powerband when I do my tweaking.
