Dyno sheet

Thought Id share this:

I found this picture/dyno sheet on my computer today. This was from a car show about two yrs ago, and it was on a mustang dyno. My dad got a free ticket to put his car on the dyno. Its too bad that the tires couldnt hold the power cause then we might have been able to get a good reading. BTW, the cam thats in the car starts its power band right about 3,000-3,200RPM and itll go all the way to 7,500RPM+. I believe he left off at 5,400RPM. I still cant wait for my dad to get a good dyno run with his car!

And the numbers are 509rwhp, and 653rwtq. Although it doesnt mean very much since the tires were spinning. Maybe if he gets a good dyno run it might even be more.

yeah the AFR wasnt hooked up. Tires were spinning thats why the graph is messed up. But its from a pontiac 400 bored +.030" with 12.5:1 comp. heads were sent to air flow research to be ported and polished, comp cams 1:5 ratio roller rockers, comp cams light weight pushrods, comp cam camshaft ( not sure on the exact specs ) Mallory comp 9000 dis. prototype intake from vic edelbrock, proform 850cfm carb, and a whole mess of other stuff I duno about yet. Sorry on the limited details of the engine but my dad built the motor in the 70's to go drag racing. So the motor is basically 30yrs old. And Im still trying to find out everything thats been done.
