please define sick as hell, ive NEVER seen a cavalier that is how do you say"sick as hell" as a matter of fact, ill go another step and say they are one of the worst cars ever made

oh no here comes the Cavy bashing And honestly that's totally ok because I see tons of Cavs out there and just shake my head. I love that mine will be a serious sleeper

I dunno if the car is or was sick as hell but yes it was supercharged. The car ran a best of 13.29@107mph with the s/c and meth injection. I had plans to try to run the nitrous on it before I took the s/c off but it never panned out.

The current build is with a fully built engine (2.4LD9) and a fully custom turbo setup. Pretty much everything in the block was built from custom cams, the fully ported head, larger valves, high rpm springs etc. The bottom end has coated wiseco pistons, oliver rods etc. The block is bored .030 over, stroked to a 2.6 and everything is cryotreated. Custom oiling system and blah blah blah I'll spare you with every little detail. When broken in and fully tuned the goals for the car will be to put down 450whp on pump and who knows how much on race and about 25psi I don't have any current pics of the setup as i've been too busy getting everything together but here is a pic of what the exterior looks like and links to a couple mock up pics.

Not all cavys are bad.... I've got an 03 with a 2.2 ECO... I can understand bashing the older with a single overhead, but the 03+ have the same engine as the Cobalt, and are lighter, the only difference is the CPU

So please dont bash all cavy's

the 2.2 is still a weak motor.. it's got an awsome shell with a horrid bottom end.. it makes no power and the tranny it's bolted to almost isn't worth the metal it's made out of.. cavi or ion the 2.2 ecotec is still not helping the car get any higher then crappy at best
