I don't think you can blame the spectators... Plenty of us have been present at an event one time or another where we weren't being a rail and a car could have lost control and ran us over.. The difference is, we were watching in anticipation of the full event, not an expectation of a 50ft burnout or less (there was a rail for the first 50ft), and the dude feathers the gas into the crowd.
It's a shame.

heres the video of the event for anyone who hasn't seen it... why would you do WOT rolling burnouts?.. transbreaking burnouts with a slow roll-out isn't good enough?

The started out as a burn out an ended up as a launch. That was the dumbest Idea i have ever seen. Some bodys pockets are gonna be empty after that one for sure. To think my insurance agency wouldnt let us have a controlled ghost riding contest at Showdown 07. I wonder what they would have said if i asked to do that?
