I dont know maybe the styling. could also be that when the car was produced most cars were slow the 84 vette only had 190 HP how sad is that. as far as I know the delorean was the first to use fiberglass in its construction also. pretty cool..

They had a GM 2.8 GM V6, what did you expect? That engine barely made the fibreglass fiero quick, it sure wasn't gonna do anything in the back of this monster.

a lot of them did. i believe it turned with the steering, much like lexus does these days. just more old ideas claiming to be new

I thought it had a Peugeot-Renault-Citroen sourced V6? I remember hearing that the movie cars had swapped-in Porsche motors as the car couldn't accelerate fast enough for the mall lot shoot.
