i plan on driving it street and a DD untill i get my own place next winter.

i have intake and exhaust. and i was thinking d series turbo because ive seen videos of them turboed and ive heard if maintained well there almopst bulletproof. but im not too sure it IS a honda engine also i was thing SI swap or something dunno im gonna look into it.

they ONLY way ur gonna see 200 whp outs that D17 is if u build it and then turbo it. but still u cant get alota power outa the D series.
K Swap is DEFINATLY the best way to go for that car

K20 swap, and you won't regret it, if you want swing by my shop, I have an ek with a k20 in it as a DD, you can take it for a ride and see how much fun it is.
yea i think im gonna grab a third job and do a k swap . 7th gen civic forums compared kswap and turboing a d17, to get a d17 to 245 WHP. id need almost 9 grand for245 WHP on a k swap id need about 8 grand lol. its cheaper. so im gonna try to hit up walmart for a 3rd job lol.
