Evo guys....Synapse valve a non-fix.....
You Evo guys who have been experiencing that throttle modulation BOV flutter/bucking bullshit don't buy the Synaspe Engineering Syncronic valve thinking it's going to solve the issue(this is NOT the Synapse here locally). Unlike how I was told it did fix this problem, I've spent ~6 hours or so messing around with the 20 or so ways to configure this valve on Erics car with plumbing and lines and NONE of the setups solved the issue. I'm so fucking pissed off right now......
The valve DOES work well, and is a VERY nice piece and I would not hesitate one bit to buy it and install irregardless on ANY car. Contact Jon @ JVG for pricing(it's a GOOD price deal for the valve) if you're interested. Far nicer than any Tial, Forge, Or Turbonetics valve you can buy. Think of it like an HKS SSQV on steroids if you will.......
I'm saying fuck it and have purchased the necessary parts to develop the isolator I designed. 100% going to work, just not all too cheap. I'll post more once the parts are in and on Erics 8

try a different context....remember a phone convo with my wife a few weeks back lol
Back to my issue at hand.........stirring up the shit pot with the Evo guys over this debate. I'm guess I'm good at that. I know I can't make an omlett without breaking some eggs, but how do I personally justify charging Eric for this work with no outcome? I feel horrible that this man has poured a good chunk of change into resolving this issue with no end result(thusfar) and now having bought a ~$200 valve that was supposed to fix the issue, but obviously now is not the case......

Dude we're not talking about some crazy Evo flux capacitor, we're talking about drinking tomorrow night. Stop trying to drag the thread back on topic, thats not how we roll.
I have no idea what K-dawg is talking about. All I remember is I owe her HER bday drink as well and her flicking me off from across the kitchen.

Ahem, but seriously...
Return the valve to Synapse engineering and make EJ the custom fix you've been planning all along.
On the other hand, I'm sure his SM competitors would pay a hefty sum if his car was somehow...disalbled...for the autox season... EJ, you here?!

I am making that isolator, shit's on order for it now. I'm sick of being dicked around by this gremlin on his car and will skin it when I find out where it's hiding under the hood.
Off to bed. Little one's got swimming lesson in the morn.....

you know what? id say "fuck it" and go with the more expensive method, if i didnt have enough then just wait and save. id rather have it working proper, no matter what part it is, than having a bullshit one making a mess

I hope you can come up with something Adam. I don't mind paying extra $ to get the issue straightened out. I still need to get re-tuned for meth, but I'm not gonna bother till I can get this valve flutter issue taken care of.
