calling honda swap guys!!

Question, I have a 93 delsol im working on, the car had a 1.6 vtec swap in it, the motor blew up on the kid, he asked me to change the engine, so he got me one out of a 94 civic ex, Its all installed now but having a big problem, the thing runs PIG RICH, you touch the gas and black smoke plumes out the exhaust, i dont want to run it too long like this even messing with it. I was told there are various connectors and plugs on these engines that can be connected incorrectly because they fit eachother fine ...if thats the case, which ones are they? any help is appreciated thanks

Oh also, another important bit of info, the car...if anything over half throttle, bogs out like crazy, assuming its from the rich state, but if you ease it up in rpms, it seems fine

Could be many things with the throttle body area, like the IAC or throttle position sensor......its been awhile since I have worked on a swap but that would be my starting point.
