Only one 12? I think that 10.0 deserves better. That 500 deserves better. I ran three 10" 4Ω dvc's to oblivion with my 500, I was replacing tinsel leads every couple months. That 10.0 needs more cowbell. I mean load.
I didnt really want to run the 500 to my doors but I haven't found a decent picasso to run my doors yet. The exact is temporary until I save up some more cash for a mean digital designs sub. Even though that 10.0 is only putting out 250x1 at 4 ohms it sounds damn good. That exact has never sounded that good before.
The 10.0 runs best at 1 ohm mono, I really think you should look into two 4Ω 12" dvc's, at the very least. She will thank you. Your neighbors won't but neighbors suck anyways.
I'm thinking about going with 1 2ohm DVC 12. Space is definitely an issue because of a spare tire. On a side note I picked up a class A 6.0 and a USA 180 to add to my collection
I don't have a lot of space in the Jeep so I had to mount everything this way. The weight of this freakin thing will deter the thieves
bad idea. you may shake and rattle amp components loose. mount it on a panel in the car or make one out of some mdf and carpet it. on another note if u want to talk oldschool, ive got 2 of Art Shaker's amps sitting at my house each capable of 2kilowatt
Some more amps came in today so its all coming out soon anyways... I'm going to possibly mount a few behind my rear seat.. hopefully that will work out.
haha na some tool ended an auction for a mint continuum I was bidding on.. I prolly wont see one for a while so I'm gonna run 3 amps.. one to my fronts, one to the rears and one to the sub. The rest I've got will just be collection pieces
back of the seat or an amp rack is the way to go. i'm going to make an amp rack to go behind the rear seat in my car. i am not drilling holes in my seats! it'll basically sit at like a 60 degree angle between the rear seat and the sub enclosure
