Looking for a massive amp

Hey, guys. Im on the lookout for a massive amp, big enough to power a small radiostation if u know what i mean. if u know somebody that is selling one, let me know. im looking for something in the 3000-3500 watt rms, preferably at 4 ohm. my sub is set at 3. im not a big fan of audiobahn and legacy and those kinda brands, i am looking for serious ones, orions, directed, that kinda deal

JBL make the sickest amps ever. Buddy of mine has a 4400w amp powering two JBL 10's. Seen him hit 149dB's last year at Judgment Day.

I used to have two JBL BP1200.1s powering a pair of RE HC10s...Amazing, clean, efficient power, never got over room temp. Only thing I didn't like about the JBLs was the lack of features (no remote gain, etc).

the JBL's are the way to go... also the JL audio's have some very serious amps as well and if you want the king of amps then go with a hercules.. can't remember how it's made by , think it's pheonix gold... but it might be someone else... that that is one hell of a crazy amp

http://www.soundstream.com/sub/products_amps_xxx.html

another choice, soundstreams always made good stuff, might be a bit more expensive then the jbl, but definitly worth looking into

6500 watts at 4 ohms bridged

JBL BP2200.1 is the way to go....I had 2 of them pushing a total of 5000w to 2 JBL Power Series 12's and could hit up to 160dB....You can probably get them cheap on Ebay.....i got mine directly from JBL(had a hook up there) and i got them for 1000 ea

Wow have times changed. I remember it was Pheonix Gold, Orion or HiFonics if you wanted a real amp. Now JBL makes the best amp?! I don't know anything about this shit anymore.

If you want to get any power out of any amp, you should be running it at 2 or lower ohms... any "3000-3500" watt amp is going to make those numbers at anywhere from a 2 to 1/2 ohm mono load on it. If you were to get say a 3000w max amp at 1ohm mono, you'd probably only be putting about 1200w to it, max. It would be more cost effective to get yourself a 1 or 2 ohm version of the same woofer to get more power out of the amplifier you will purchase. If you have any questions, feel free to PM me...
