you can get a VGA to component cable, but then you will not be getting a digital signal.

1080i Component does looks amazing. My friend brought his ps3 over and all I had to hook it up was the component cables from my ps2 and I was very impressed, but it will not be as good as a true digital signal

Yeah I have DVI in on my current TV. DVI is better than HDMI anyways, its a true digital video-only signal. Mainly used with higher end monitors, but everything's going hdmi anyways. No real difference in quality between DVI and hdmi.

I need to do some better testing of 1080 footage component vs hdmi before I can make a good argument either way, but I'm sure hdmi is the better way to go.

I was addressing the component vs digital lol I don't care lol. 1080i on component is good enough for me.

im sure i have its cheaper. they have more accessories for it. infact, ive yet to see any accessories for the ps3. the controller is build better. the ps3's is just way to damn light. with usb connection to your computer you have access to every video, song, and storage space. removable harddrive to take to a friends house. gee i havent even gotten to the games yet...

well it has less features... it doesn't have HDMI 1080p video, 7.1 audio, or an HD DVD / blu-ray player so I'd expect it to be cheaper, DUH!

the ps3 has been out for a couple months, so obviously the amount of acessories will be less. The ps3 dvd remote is out and it is very impressive. Give it time, just like the games, the ps3 will have just as much, if not more, accessories than the 360

Are you an engineer with extensive knowledge on how the controller is built? Do you know for a fact that it is better? This is your opinion, not a fact. Some people like the ps3 controllers, some dont... thats fine

I dunno if the ps3 has this or not, I imgaine so. But since I don't have one and haven't tried it, I dunno. I do know with a usb keyboard and mouse it can be used as a PC and a PC can do all those things with ease.

the ps3 uses memory sticks, not only it's own kind, but compact Flash and SD memory cards too. Which I would think would be easier and safer than moving a HD around.

actually I already stated that it is unfair to compare games since the 360 had a year head start, but maybe you didn't understand it the first time. And I've stated already that as far as games go, the 360 easily beats the ps3 at this point cuz of the shear masses of game available.

i dont have the time to go threw eveverything like you, 360 has 1080i. and you must have the best vision on the planet to tell the difference between 1080i and p. and for a mear 200 dollars you can get hd-dvd for 360. and if you wanted to make a whole nother subject why the blu ray will fail lets just simply state that sony refuses to sell it to the porn industry, and if your aware at all, porn is what sells everything. and dont give me an ignorant statement like well your the one buying it all so thats why its going to sell. the 360 also has memory stick slots. but who wants to use a memory stick when they can carry around a 10 gig harddrive.

will the ps3 be a better gaming system if they come out with cool games. sure, why not, ill use your arguement, theyve had over a year to come out with a better graphics card and set up. but they wont.


your just mad that microsoft owns 360. get over it. bill gates can have my money if he keeps coming out with sweet games. you can have your 6 axis i can fight dragons on a dragon crap.
