lol good luck with that one. no way in the world that MS OS will not be adopted. Lets face it business runs on MS thats just the way it is. I personally like windows he it pays my bills. But I also run and use linux and mac os they all have their place as we have discussed before. But for the love of god do you honestly thing that a MS os will not be adopted in this day and age if you think it is possible you better stop smoking whatever it is you have been smoking. There are several issues with vista but once they are all worked out vista will deffinitly be the nicest MS os yet!

I don't think I'd ever run a MS OS for a server unless I absolutely needed exchange...

Vista's DRM is going to turn MANY people away. Too bad linux isn't really ready as a desktop OS for noobs yet. Apple will probably pick up a good chunk of people also.

If anything the incompatabilty issues will slow adoption but it will not stop it in anyway. I think Xp will remain the main os for 1 - 2 yeears then vista will become the cornerstone as usually happens with ms OSes
