Folding@Home is a distributed computing project -- people from through out the world download and run software to band together to make one of the largest supercomputers in the world. Every computer makes the project closer to our goals.
Folding@Home uses novel computational methods coupled to distributed computing, to simulate problems thousands to millions of times more challenging than previously achieved.

Go to http://folding.stanford.edu/download.html and download the Windows 2000/XP Graphical client (provided you are using win2000 or XP) and run the installer. Pick a name, and once its installed, it'll ask you for a team number...

Also, they now have a folding client for the PS3, and Jordan (Showmotive) is testing it out. Supposedly, its the best client out there now.

The power of the ps3 definitely shows with the new folding @ home client installed. Its included with the latest ps3 update and only takes up 50 meg on the harddrive.

I've got an old box folding under my basement stairs for like the last year and a half, currently folding for [H]ardOCP
