Folding for Cancer Research!

Join the team and help out with cancer research....
Quote:
Folding@Home is a distributed computing project -- people from through out the world download and run software to band together to make one of the largest supercomputers in the world. Every computer makes the project closer to our goals.
Folding@Home uses novel computational methods coupled to distributed computing, to simulate problems thousands to millions of times more challenging than previously achieved.
Go to http://folding.stanford.edu/download.html and download the Windows 2000/XP Graphical client (provided you are using win2000 or XP) and run the installer. Pick a name, and once its installed, it'll ask you for a team number...
Our team number is 34583
Help a local folding team out!!! Our team is 383rd out of over 50000 teams, right now.
I also want to thank all of you who are contributing. We appreciate your efforts.

Thanks

Also, they now have a folding client for the PS3, and Jordan (Showmotive) is testing it out. Supposedly, its the best client out there now.

showmotive is on a distinguished road

The power of the ps3 definitely shows with the new folding @ home client installed. Its included with the latest ps3 update and only takes up 50 meg on the harddrive.
