Question for XBox people...

Forza 2 looks way to cool to pass up. Whats the real difference between the systems? I dont really care about the HDMI or the wireless controllers w/ Elite. Can you even play multiplayer using the Live Silver membership? Why would I need the harddrive?

Trying to figure out what I get for another $180 for the Elite system over the Core? I pretty much just want to play the games. I wouldn't use it for an all-inclusive media center.

Thoughts? Someone tell me whats the deal. The most recent gaming console I've used is a PS2 I bought opening day and have never hooked an ethernet or anything else up to it.

u dont need the elite. just the the premium one now with the hard drive and it comes with wireless controler and headset. dont get the base model its a waist of time.

u need the hard drive for saving data and u can download games and demos and lots of shit. o love my 360. i never play my ps3 at all...

If you get the basic system, I can bet that you will buy the HDD for it. Other than memory cards, it's the only way to save information (saved games, etc.)

Silver membership allows you to connect to the xbox live network and cock tease you. Gold allows you to play games, etc.

The new black xbox (whatever it's called) has a bigger HDD (120gb compared to a 20gb) and it has HDMI output.

I have the 360 with the 20gb HDD, 2 wireless controllers, 2 wireless headsets, and a handful of games. I have xbox live, but I only play it once in a while... It gets used as a DVD player more than anything else.

Get the premium 360, thats all you need, this system is great, i play about 50 hours a week, i love it! I cant wait for Forza 2 to come out

Is the standard 20gb enough? I'd rather not upgrade in the future.

Yeah the 20gb is fine. They came out with the larger drive for the guys that download games, movie trailers, etc. all the time.

yea from what some poeple have seen it's an 06 with the comp package... it's gunna have a 1000hp after the correction factor of course
