Once you download a torrent file you just need to open the file with Azureus. If .torrent files are already associated with Azureus you can just double click on them. If not, go File-->Open-->Torrent File... click the Add Files button to browse and find the file. I know I have a hard time downloading with my firewall on so you might want to disable it. If you're downloading anything that is obviously copyrighted, download and install PeerGuardian and make sure it's running anytime you use any torrent program but obviously I don't do that and you shouldn't either so you won't need that last tip. To help with the P2P system, keep Azureus open. Anything you are downloading or have downloaded will be available to share. This is called 'seeding.' You can always change the upload and download speeds when needed by right clicking on the stats at the bottom right of the window and selecting a speed. If you don't see a speed you like, just select one that's close then right click on it again, it will have a different range of selections. When it comes to finding files I only use The Pirate Bay because their comment section is right on each files page and you can read if the file you're downloading is junk or has malware or if it's genuine and works good. TPB also just seems to have the best selection. I can never find anything I'm looking for on mininova, bittorrent, uTorrent, etc.
