So my laptop doesnt work n e more. The power cord isnt makin connection to the computer. idk whats broken but it just wont charge.
Can anyone local fix it for me?
thats a motherboard issue since the power connector is usually soldered on there. most like that connection is now broken. i would maybe bring it to lake electronics, but either way its not going to be a cheap fix.
same thing happened with my sony vaio, the clip broke off the motherboard from when it plugs in, easy fix for someone who somehow nows what they are doing
yeah i had replaced my ibm laptop motherboard twice because of that issue. Luckily I wasn't paying for motherboards. Otherwise, its usually just a broken solder joint
I have ha alot of issues with the power adaptors themselves going on those laptops. you could just borrow a friends adaptor and see if it charges. then pick one up off the net for about 25 beans and you could be all set.
