TV troubleshooting
I don't know how many electronics guys are on here, but I'll try anyways...
I have a regular 32 inch JVC tv in my room which is about 7 years old. A couple days ago I noticed it acting weird. Any channel under 37 will slowly build up "snow storm" static to the point the tv gives me a blue screen (does this when you disconnect the cable, must be a built in feature to prevent the loud static noise), then the channel comes right back on clear as day.. and the cycle repeats. Channels higher than 37 are completely fine. 2-6 and 15 rarely work at all. I plugged in an older 20 inch sony I had in storage and it worked perfectly fine on all channels. So it's obviously the tv itself. The question is, anyone know what could be the problem and if it's worth getting fixed?
if it's not worth it then it's an excuse to buy a LG lcd, which is great an all, but I didn't plan on spending a large amount of cash on a new tv any time soon...hmmm.
