Computer Active Magazine is giving away free copy of AVG 7.5 Professional anti virus software. Please note, their servers may be hammerred very hard, be patient

I read that AVG is a terrible resource hog and that it's not even that good. I don't have any experience with it but just throwing it out there.

if your just looking for the antivirus, download the regular free version:
AVG Free Advisor - AVG Anti-Virus Free Edition

its the same thing, just doesnt offer the tech support.

just downloaded it and installed it....never used it before but I will take everyones word that its good...I had Mcafee and I don't really like it.

I am a symantec corporate edition fan but AVG is a much more cost effective antivirus for a home user good score I am downloading it now so I can hand it out to my software leaching friends and family thanks for the link.
