Cell Phone Debate...
So in less then a month my cell phone place though Verizon comes to an end. I have been up for renewal since December, but have been waiting to see what new gadgets get put out there.
Just curious of some feedback from all the Verizon and AT&T users out there, I am sure this question has been asked a hundred times.
Should I switch to AT&T for the iPhone or the Tilt?
Should I stay with Verizon and get a Voyager or a Q 9...neither of which really thrill me.
Another aspect is staying with Verizon, since I would leave my brothers family plan, I would drop a big ass deposit, while AT&T's isnt that terrible. Only problem with switching carriers is the fact that majority of my friends are Verizon, adn I have no idea how well AT&T is as for cell service.
I know MacWorld is comming up, so maybe there will be an iPhone upgrade, but I am not holding my breath. Also I was pretty dissapointed in the anticipated release of the Voyager, it really doesnt seem much different then the enV which every 14 year old girl has.
Anyone use any of those cells mentioned, yada yada? haha

Yea through United Technologies I get 25 or 23 percent off Verizon and AT&T, so that is def. a big bonus.
Sadly the discount doesnt apply to the iPhone purchase, or the liek 10-20 bucks they tag on for the iPhone service to a normal AT&T bill, but its still cheaper then a regular customer.

AT&T tried to screw me over so i say they suck balls I sent my blackjack in for a trade in cause the piece of shit quit on me for the second time, and they sent me another no problem , to make the story short the one they sent was also a piece of shit and when i sent that one back i got new one and a couple weeks later my bill comes and they are charging me 350 bucks for the one that was broken when they sent it to me so i went back to nextel blackberry and am again much happier wondering why i ever switched from nextel in the first place

Delphi gives me discounts at all of the typical giants like Verizon, AT&T, Sprint, etc but T-Mobile(which doesn't have a discount) was still cheaper and their data plan is better. Plus they have the Fav-5 which I really don't take full advantage of but if you talk a lot to only a certain group of people, you only need the basic 300min plan since your favorites are free. You can also change who's on your Fav-5 list once a month. I used to have issues with SMS text's getting lost and then finally getting sent out of order like half an hour later but that hasn't happened in a while. Another thing, if you like using your phone as an external modem(which I'm actually doing right now), T-Mobile is the only place that has had 100% success rate. That may only be for BlackBerries though. BlackBerry FTW.

Yea I havent really considered T-Mobile, just cause the service seems to blow around my parts. But if I end up in a big city in a few months after I grad. that wouldnt be an issue.

iPhone FTW. That is the most useful electronic device I have ever seen in my life... If all you're gonna use it for is a phone, then dont get it, you're wasting your money. Buy a phone for the features you need and/or will use.

thats the smartest thing I have ever heard you say Jim
I only use my phone for text and calls, so when I got my Verizon plan I just took the free Nokia phone that came with the plan, never had a problem with it and I beat the hell out of it which is another reason I wont go out and buy a new expensive phone....its guaranteed to break and even if I get a warranty I dont want to go thru the hastle of sending it back or waiting in lines to get another phone.

Yea good to hear a Verizon employee say that. Everytime I talk to an idiot at a Verizon store, they either treat me like im some noob prick, or banter off useless crap about how Verizon phones are the best.
I am still pretty burned on how bad my motorola e815 was for the 2 years of use its seen, I cant wait to take this phone and destroy it into many many pieces.

Verizon service, which is ~90% ok I guess. The service has it's quirks, but show me one that doesn't
